Former railways minister Mujibul Haque
A Dhaka court here imposed travel embargo on former railways minister Mujibul Haque over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday (January 9), allowing a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The anti-graft body in its plea said the former railways minister allegedly amassed huge illegal wealth in his and his family members’ names through tender rigging and appointing people in different offices taking huge money.
The ACC said the accused may try to flee the country to evade justice.
