Moderate cold wave in 10 districts: What BMD says

Temperature dropped to 7°C on Friday (January 10) in the northern district of Panchagarh.
The district's Tentulia weather observation station recorded a temperature of 7.3 degree Celsius at 9 am on Friday (January 10). It was the lowest temperature of the season.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said a mild cold wave is sweeping over 10 districts, and it may spread.
“Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Gopalganj and Moulvibazar and it may continue at some places,” according to the forecast valid for the next 24 hours begins from 9am on Friday.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Light to Moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Day temperature may rise slightly over the country.
