Fire breaks out at Tejgaon truck stand

A fire broke out at Tejgaon truck stand in the capital this morning. Three firefighting units are working to douse the blaze.

The fire originated at 8:05 am on Sunday (January 12).

On information, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and started working to bring the fire under control, said Shahjahan Sikder, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters.

The reason behind the fire and extent of damages caused by the fire could not be known immediately.

However, no casualties were reported in this connection.
