ICT prosecutors get important call recordings of Hasina, others

The prosecution team of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has received important call recordings involving ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and others related to the mass killings that took place during the July-August uprising.

Prosecutors also said they have found important information and evidence about the disappearance. However, they have complained about the lack of cooperation in providing information to the tribunal.

Members of the prosecution team disclosed the matter while talking to reporters at the tribunal on Monday (January 13).

On August 5 last year, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left the country due to the student protests.
