74 senior police officers transferred 

A total of 50 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police and 24 officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police have been transferred. 

They were transferred in three separate notifications from the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (January 13). 

Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman signed the notifications on the order of the President.

In one notification, 19 Superintendents of Police, in one notification, 31 Superintendents of Police and in another notification, 24 Additional Superintendents of Police have been. 

They have been transferred to various units including DMP, Police Headquarters, CID, SB, RAB, CMP, PBI, APBN, RMP and BMP.
