68 bank accounts owned by S Alam family frozen

A Dhaka court has frozen 67 bank accounts owned by S Alam Group owner Mohammed Saiful Alam and his family members.

Judge Md Zakir Hossain of the Metropolitan Senior Special Judge’s Court passed the order on Tuesday.

Besides, the court has also ordered to confiscate 16 immovable properties of their family.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Deputy Director Siffat Uddin applied for the petition. Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir stood for the ACC.
