Directive to seize S Alam family’s Tk 3,500cr shares 

A Dhaka court has directed to seize over 32.10 crore shares of 24 companies held in the name of S Alam Group owner Md Saiful Alam and his family members. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the appeal petition.

The shares are cumulatively worth Tk3,563 crore.
