Pilkhana carnage: Over 250 accused get bail in explosive case

More than 250 accused have secured bail in the Explosives Act case over the 2009 Pilkhana BDR carnage.
Judge Ibrahim Miah, of Special Tribunal-1 Dhaka passed the order after hearing on Sunday (January 19).
Lawyer Aminul Islam, on behalf of the petitioners confirmed the matter.
State prosecutor Alhaz Md Borhan Uddin opposed the bail during the hearing.
A total of 74 people, including 57 army officers, were killed in a bloody mutiny at the BGB Headquarters in Pilkhana on February 25 and 26, 2009, sending shock waves around the world.
