Doa mahfils held for Walton director Mridul across country

A doa mahfil for Mahabub Alam Mridul.
The fourth death anniversary of Mahabub Alam Mridul, a young entrepreneur and director of Walton Group, was observed on Tuesday across the country in a befitting manner.
Separate doa mahfils were held seeking peace for the departed soul of Mahabub Alam Mridul.
The doa mahfils were held at Mridul’s village home, Walton headquarters in Gazipur, Walton Group Corporate Head Office (Bashundhara Residential Area), Mirpur Walton Complex and Risingbd office.
The doa mahfils were also held at Walton plazas and distributors’ showrooms across the country. Several hundred people joined the doa mahfils.
Mahbub Alam Mridul died of cardiac arrest in Dhaka on Thursday (January 21) evening in 2021 at the age of 23 years. He breathed his last in the city’s Evercare Hospital around 6:23pm.
He was buried at the family graveyard at Gosai Joair of Tangail on Friday (January 22).
Mahbub Alam Mridul was born on January 25, 1997 to an aristocratic Muslim family. His father SM Shamsul Alam is the Chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.
Mridul joined Walton Group as a director on September 1, 2019 and put outstanding signatures of his merit in a short time.
