Train services have resumed across the country after a 26-hour snap as the railway's running staff have called off their strike.
Train services began to normalise this morning (Wednesday 29), starting with services from Dhaka to Rajshahi. Some other trains are about to depart from Kamalapur station.
The running staff members withdrew their strike after a meeting with Railways Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan at his residence in the early hours of Wednesday.
Earlier, the railway running staff announced nationwide strike on Monday midnight, halting train services throughout the day.
