49 MBBS candidates avoid certificate verification

A total of 49 candidates who passed the MBBS admission test under the freedom fighter quota for the 2024-25 academic year did not appear for certificate verification at the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME).

A press notification signed by health directorate DG Dr Rubina Yasmin confirmed the matter on Wednesday (January 29).

They have been asked to attend the verification process again on February 2 with the necessary documents.

Candidates failing to appear for verification on that date will be considered ineligible for the quota, said the notice.
