Govt raises fuel prices

The government has increased retail prices of diesel, kerosene, petrol, and octane by Tk1 at the consumer level.

The adjusted price will come into effect on Saturday (February 1).

According to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division today (31 January), the retail price of diesel has been set at Tk105 per litre, kerosene at Tk105, octane Tk126 and petrol Tk122.

The new prices have been set under the automated pricing formula in light of the adjustment of prices in the global market, said the notification.
