The mass uprising injured are staging a sit-in programme, blocking Agargaon road
Those injured in the July-August mass uprising are staging a sit-in programme on a road in the capital’s Agargaon, demanding immediate access to better medical treatment, compensation and state recognition.
The mass uprising injured began their demonstration on the road in front of the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) to press their demands at around 11:00 am on Sunday (February 2).
Due to the demonstration, traffic flow on both sides of the road has come to a halt, causing significant inconvenience to the commoners traveling to their destinations.
An injured named Soikat Hossain said, “Our demonstration will continue until our demands are met.”
