Demonstration at Dhanmondi 32, vandalism

Agitated people under the Students–People’s Uprising-2024 demonstrated in the Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s residence area at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital Dhaka and carried out massive vandalism on Wednesday night.

A number of people reached Dhanmondi 32, also known as the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, with a ‘Bulldozer Procession,’ chanting various slogans at around 8 pm.

The procession was brought out in response to the announcement of Sheikh Hasina’s online speech in India.

At one stage, they began ransacking and setting fire to the Bhaban, venting their anger toward exiled Sheikh Hasina’s speech.
