Sheikh Selim’s Banani residence vandalized, torched

Angry people have vandalized the residence of Awami League Presidium Member Sheikh Selim at Bannani in the capital.

Later, they set fire to the house at around 1:30pm on Friday.

Angry people set fire to the residence of Awami League Presidium Member Sheikh Selim in the capital’s Banani, according to a duty officer from the Fire Service control room.

Earlier, on Wednesday night, students and other protesters vandalized and set fire to the residence of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32, using a bulldozer to reduce much of the building to rubble.
