Command centre ready to monitor law and order situation

Following the direction of the Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus, a command centre, established to intensively monitor the country’s law and order situation, has started its works from Sunday evening (February 9).
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said this while addressing a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital.
The command center will be operated under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Members of various law enforcement forces - Police, BGB, RAB, Coast Guard, Armed Forces Battalion - will be associated with the center.
He said that if there is a risk of deterioration of the law and order situation anywhere in the country, immediate action will be taken from the command center.
