EC taking preparation to hold national polls in Dec

Election Commissioner Brig Gen (Retd) Abdul Fazal Md Sanaullah said the Commission is taking preparation to hold the next general election in December.

He shared the information while briefing journalists after a meeting of Election Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin and foreign diplomats from 18 countries and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Nirbachan Bhaban on Tuesday (February 11).

“The Election Commission is preparing for the next general election, assuming it will be held in December,” Sanaullah said.
