Judgment against Hasina, AL leaders by Oct: Law Adviser

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its judgment against Sheikh Hasina and other top leaders of the Awami League in three to four cases by October this year.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Asif Nazrul said at a press conference held at his Secretariat office in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Over 300 cases have been filed with the ICT so far. Of those, 16 cases are currently under investigation. Among the 16, investigations into three to four cases are expected to conclude within this month.

So, verdicts in three to four cases currently under trial with ICT are expected to be delivered by October.
