Khaleda’s health condition is stable: AZM Zahid

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is now undergoing treatment at The London Clinic.
BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain has said Khaleda Zia’s health condition is stable.
He said this to journalists after attending an event in London on Tuesday (February 11).
Dr Zahid said, “As you know, Begum Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at a clinic in London since January 8. At present, she is under the care of doctors at the home of her eldest son and acting chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman. She is being treated under the supervision of Professor Patrick Kennedy and Dr. Jennifer Cross.”
“Khaleda Zia’s health condition is stated to be stable and she is now feeling much better mentally,” he added.
On 8 January, Khaleda Zia was airlifted to London for advanced treatment there. Zahid travelled with six other Bangladeshi doctors on the same air ambulance.
The former prime minister has been suffering from a range of health issues, including liver cirrhosis, kidney problems, heart issues, diabetes and arthritis for a long period.
