Meeting of Consensus Commission with political parties begins 

The meeting of the National Consensus Commission with the political parties began on Saturday afternoon.

The meeting started at the Foreign Service Academy in the city after 3:00pm.

In the meeting, leaders from various political parties, including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Nagorik Oikya, Islami Andolan, Khelafat Majlish, Gono Sanghati Andolon, Gonoadhikar Parishad, and Jatiya Nagorik Committee were present.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, also the chairman of the commission, presided over the meeting.

The National Consensus Commission will complete its consensus building tasks within its six-month tenure.

The Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) is providing secretarial service to the commission.
