IGP pays homage to language martyrs

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam today paid rich tributes to the language martyrs on the occasion of the Great Shaheed Dibash (Martyrs’ Day) and International Mother Language Day-2025.

In the first hour of Ekushey, the IGP paid homage to the language movement heroes, who made supreme sacrifice to establish Bangla as the mother-language in 1952, by placing a wreath at the altar of the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital.

Senior police officials were present at the time.
