Operation Devil Hunt: 7310 arrested in 13 days

Under the ‘Operation Devil Hunt’, the joint forces arrested a total of 7310 persons in last 13 days for their suspected link to destabilise the country.

A press release of police headquarters informed this on Friday (February 21). 

The joint forces arrested 461 more people as part of the nationwide crackdown on criminals in the last 24 hours from Thursday noon to Friday noon.

According to the release, a total of 1650 persons were arrested from different parts of the country. Of them, 1189 were arrested on other criminal charges.

During the operation, one foreign pistol, six rounds of bullet, two double barrel local gun, one 
shutter gun, and one machetes were seized.
