Robbery on moving bus, Baraigram OC withdrawn

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Baraigram Police Station in Natore Sirajul Islam has been withdrawn for not taking a complaint regarding a robbery on a moving bus.
The OC has been attached to the Natore police super’s office.
Natore Police Super Mohammad Amjad Hossain PPM confirmed the matter on Friday (February 21).
The victims complained that they did not get service when they went to the police station.
A case has been filed with the Mirzapur police station in Tangail in connection with the robbery on the moving bus along the Dhaka-Rajshahi route.
On Friday (February 21) morning, bus passenger Omar Ali, son of Mozahar Ali of Chashbaraigram in Baraigram upazila of Natore, filed the case with the Mirzapur police station against 8 to 9 unidentified members of a gang of robbers.
Earlier they failed to file a case with Baraigram and Mirzapur police stations.
Robbers took away money and belongings from all the passengers. Two female passengers were also faced sexual harassment.
