Adviser Nahid Islam resigns

Information and Broadcasting Adviser Nahid Islam has resigned from the advisory council of the interim government.

He submitted his resignation on Tuesday noon (February 25).

According to sources from the Chief Adviser's office, a meeting is being held at the chief advisor's residence, Jamuna, from this noon. After the meeting, media will be briefed about outcome of the meeting.

Earlier, there had been ongoing discussions about his resignation over the past few days.
