Man hacked to death in Jatrabari

A man was hacked to death by miscreants in the capital's Jatrabari area last night (February 25).

The deceased has been identified as Iqbal Hossain, 40.

Kulsum Akter, wife of the victim said that her husband was an auto rickshaw driver. He was taking tea at a local tea stall around 11:00pm. Meanwhile, 3/4 attacked him with lethal weapon, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Mohammad Faruk said the body was kept at the morgue for autopsy.
