Mahfuj Alam becomes information adviser 

Mahfuj Alam has become the information and broadcasting ministry’s adviser.

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has given the charge to Mahfuj Alam.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (February 26).

On Tuesday, Md Nahid Islam resigned from the adviser post of the ministries for Information and Broadcasting, and Post, Telecommunications and ICT. 

Mahfuj Alam hails from Isapur village under Ramganj upazila in Lakshmipur.  

He is a student of the Law Department of Dhaka University in the 2015-16 academic year.  

Mahfuj Alam took oath as the adviser to the interim government on November 10.
