Operation Devil Hunt: 743 more arrested in 24 hrs

Under the nationwide ongoing Operation Devil Hunt, joint forces arrested 743 more across the country in last 24 hours.

Police headquarters informed this on Thursday afternoon.

During this period, 914 individuals were also apprehended across the country on various charges.  The joint forces also recovered various arms from the arrested people. 

Earlier, the government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice On February 8.

The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
