Jamaat open to hold talks with new party

Jamaat-e-Islami has welcomed the new political party ‘Jatiya Nagorik Party’. 

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has expressed hope that their doors are always open to hold talks with the new party on any issue.

The Jamaat leader said this after attending the launching ceremony of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (National Citizens Party-NCP) at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital on Friday (February 28) afternoon.

The event began at around 4:15 pm. From noon, students and people started to throng Manik Mia Avenue
Leaders of several political parties, including the Jamaat secretary general, attended the event. 

Mia Golam Parwar arrived at the venue at 3:12 pm.  At that time, his name was announced on the stage.
