No place for pro-India, pro-Pakistan politics in Bangladesh: Nahid

Nahid Islam, convener of newly-floated political party, the Jatiya Nagorik Party (National Citizens Party-NCP), has said that Bangladesh will never be divided again. There will be no place for pro-India or pro-Pakistan politics in Bangladesh.

He said this at the launching ceremony of the new-party at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital on Friday (February 28) evening.

Nahid Islam also said, “We only want to talk about the future. We want to talk about the future dreams.” 
Later, he outlined the goals and objectives of his party.

The program began at 4:20 pm with the recitation of the Holy Quran. 

Then, readings were made from the Holy Gita, Tripitaka and the Bible. 

After readings from the religious scriptures, the national anthem was played.
