Children of uprising victims to get quota in school admissions

The government has decided to allocate quota facilities for the children of those injured or killed during the July 2024 mass uprising.

According to the admission policy for the 2025 academic year, 5% of seats will be reserved for the children of freedom fighters, martyred freedom fighters and the families of those injured or martyred in the uprising.

To be eligible, applicants must submit attested copies of relevant documents or official gazettes along with their application and present the original documents during admission.

The verification process must be carried out using freedom fighter certificates issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs or official gazettes listing the martyrs of the July uprising.
