Four bodies recovered from hotel in Dhaka

Four people died after a fire broke out at ‘Saudia’, a residential hotel in Shahjadpur in Dhaka on Monday (March 3).

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Fire service headquarters duty officer Rashed Bin Khaled said the fire originated around 12:30 pm. The victims’ bodies were found inside a bathroom on the sixth floor, with the staircase door locked.

The fire broke out on the second floor of the six-storey building.
