Sadeeq Agro chairman Imran arrested

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested Sadeeq Agro Chairman Imran Hossain on charges of laundering Tk 133 crore.

The police headquarters confirmed the arrest on Monday (March 3) afternoon.

According to police, there is a case against Imran for laundering Tk 133 crore. He has been arrested in that case.

Earlier, the CID filed a case against Sadeeq Agro owner Imran Hossain, Touhidul Alam Zenith and the accused company Sadeeq Agro on charges of laundering Tk 133 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and Rules.
