6,531 school teachers to be appointed today

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced the joining dates of 6,531 candidates selected for the third phase of recruitment for the posts of assistant teachers in government primary schools.

According to the announcement, the finally selected candidates will have to attend the office of their respective District Primary Education Officer in person on March 12.

A notification signed by Rebecca Sultana, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed the matter on Monday (March 3).

Appointment letters will be issued to the selected candidates; those who have completed the health check-up and submitted other documents on March 4. The appointed teachers will have to join the District Primary Education Office by March 12, said the notification.
