CR Abrar becoming education adviser

Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar is going to become an adviser to the interim government.

A swearing-in ceremony will be held at Bangabhaban at 11:00am on Wednesday.

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said this at a press briefing on Tuesday.

He said CR Abrar would become education adviser.

Rafiqul Abrar, widely known as CR Abrar, is a retired professor of International Relations at the University of Dhaka and a prominent human rights activist.

He currently serves as the president of Odhikar, a human rights organization.
