Whether India will give visas or not, it is their decision: Foreign Adviser 

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain has said, whether India will give visas to Bangladeshi citizens or not, it is their decision. We have not created visa complications.

The adviser said this in response to a question from journalists at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday (March 4).

Md. Touhid Hossain said, “If a country does not issue a visa to anyone or to any group, no question can be raised about it”.

He drew neighbouring India’s attention to take the initiative first to address the ongoing complications over visa-related issues with Bangladesh.

In an interview with BBC Bangla, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus mentioned our position, he said.
