BSEC executive director Saifur sent to forced retirement

Saifur Rahman, executive director of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, has been forced into retirement.
He was sent on forced retirement in an order signed by BSEC Chairman Khandaker Rashed Maqsud on Tuesday (March 4).
According to the information, Saifur Rahman has been sent forced retirement as per Section 63 of BSEC's service rules.
The commission led by Rashed Rashed Maqsud charge of the office on August 22 last year. Then, Saifur Rahman was given the responsibility of the R&D department from the Issuer Company Affairs department. At that time, he was basically made an OSD. However, on September 9, he was removed from that responsibility as well.
