HC summons home secretary

The High Court has summoned Nasimul Gani, senior secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, to explain the formulation of the security guideline for providing special protection to important persons for 2025.
The bench of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Sikder Mahmudur Razi passed the order on Thursday (March 6).
The court also issued a rule suspending the enforcement of the state security guidelines issued by the home ministry for three months.
Supreme Court Senior Advocate Mohammad Shishir Monir confirmed the matter to reporters.
Earlier, the lawyer brought to the court's attention on the national security guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (March 2).
