Advance train ticket sale begins March 14

Bangladesh Railway will start selling advanced train tickets ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr from March 14 and continue it until 20 March.

During the period, passengers will be able to purchase tickets for their journeys from 24 March to 30 March.
Railways Secretary Md Fahimul Islam said this on Thursday.

The authorities will sell 35,315 tickets daily (cent per cent online) during the upcoming Eid festival.

A meeting on BR’s Eid preparations, led by its Director General Afzal Hossain, decided to operate eight special trains alongside regular intercity and express trains to facilitate the homebound passengers.
