Adviser Asif Mahmud releases person detained in Paltan

The banned organization Hizb ut-Tahrir took out a procession as part of the ‘March for Khilafat’ program in the Baitul Mukarram area of the capital.
At that time, a person was seen beating a Tahrir member who fell to the ground after an action by the policemen.
He is a rickshaw puller by profession. After this incident, the law enforcement members detained the rickshaw puller. Hearing the news, Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, released him.
On Friday (March 7), at around 4:40 pm, he took him in his own car from the DB office on Minto Road of the DMP. The name and identity of the rickshaw puller was not immediately known.
The adviser did not speak to the media about the rickshaw puller.
He wrote in a Facebook post that the released person supplies water in the Baitul Mukarram area.
