Two garment workers killed in Banani road crash

Two garment workers were killed when a lorry hit them in Banani Chairmanbari area on Monday (March 10).

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Local sources said the accident took place around 6:30am in the area. Protesting the incident, garments workers blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway.

Confirming the matter, Banani police station Officer-in-Charge Rasel Sarwar said police is trying to bring the situation under control.
