Liberation War Museum fire under control

A fire broke out at the generator room of the Liberation War Museum in the capital’s Agargaon at around 9am on Monday (March 10).
However, the fire was brought under control at around 9:40am, said Lima Khanam, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room.
He said two units from Mohammadpur fire station rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
He said the cause of the fire was an electrical malfunction.
However, the extent of damage caused by the fire could not be ascertained immediately.
