Chief Adviser’s special assistant Prof Aminul Islam resigns

Prof Dr M Aminul Islam, special assistant to the Chief Adviser (with the rank of State Minister), has resigned.

He sent the resignation letter to the secretary of the Cabinet Division on Monday (March 10).

Prof Aminul Islam himself confirmed the matter to the media.

He said, “The office of the Chief Adviser was repeatedly urging me to resign. Therefore, today at around 2 pm, I sent my resignation letter to the Secretary of the Cabinet Division through my PS.”

On March 5, Aminul Islam took oath as special assistant to the Chief Adviser.
