Police introduces hotline to stem violence against women

Bangladesh Police has launched a hotline at the Police Headquarters to promptly address incidents of violence against women.

The hotline numbers are 01320002001, 01320002002 and 0132000222, according to a statement issued by the Police Headquarters.

The numbers will remain open 24/7, said the statement.

The Police Cyber Support for Women will remain alert as before to provide legal aid to women and prevent cybercrime, it added, warning that Bangladesh Police follows a zero tolerance policy to prevent violence against women and children.
