Multiple wives’ names can be added to NID

The National Identity Registration Wing at the Election Commission (EC) has taken a decision in principle to include nicknames and multiple wives’ names to the National Identity Card (NID).

ASM Humayun Kabir, director general of the National Identity Registration Wing at the EC, confirmed the information on Monday (March 10).
