One arrested on charge of raping 10-year-old girl at Baridhara 

Police arrested a man on charges of rapping a ten-year-old girl in Baridhara area of Dhaka on Monday.
The arrestee is Sajal Hossain Palash, 40.

According to the case statement, Sajal Hossain Palash entered the victim’s residence on Sunday morning, found her alone and raped her.

Later, the girl disclosed the incident to her mother upon her return, after which the mother took her to the one-stop crisis centre at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at noon.

Her mother filed a case with Gulshan Thana.
