Gambia foreign minister due on Tuesday

The Gambia Foreign Minister Mamadou Tangara is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday (March 11), on a three-day visit.
A Memorandum of Understanding on visa waiver for diplomatic and official passport holders between Bangladesh and Gambia will be signed during his visit.
During the tour, the Gambian Foreign Minister will meet with Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser to the Interim Government.
Mamadou Tangara will hold a bilateral meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart foreign adviser Md Touhid Hossain.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this visit is in the interest of Gambia. Gambia wants to increase bilateral relations with Bangladesh. And we are interested in increasing relations with African countries.
