Anti-rape protests:
Students from 30 colleges stage demo at Shahbagh

Students from 30 colleges in the capital gathered at Shahbagh on Tuesday to protest violence, rape and abuse against women.
The students arrived in small processions and took position in Shahbagh intersection around 1:00 pm.
Meanwhile, they were seen chanting slogans such as "Who are you, who am I, we are together," "Justice, justice, we want justice," "Death penalty, death penalty, we demand the death penalty for rapists," "In our golden Bengal, there is no place for rapists," "Light the fire, burn it down," and "Set fire to the rapists' seats."
Rakibul Hossain, a student of Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College said that there is a law against violence against women in our country. But the law is not implemented. Therefore, they are committing crimes and getting release.
