Minimum Fitra amount set at Tk 110, maximum Tk 2,805

This year the minimum Fitra has been fixed at Tk 110 per person, while the maximum is Tk 2,805.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Fitra Fixing Committee in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Tuesday (March 11).

Maulana Mufti Abdul Malek, president of the National Fitra Determination Committee and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram, presided over the meeting.

Fitra is paid to the poor before attending Eid prayers.
