National Memorial to remain closed until March 25

The National Memorial at Savar will remain inaccessible to the public from March 16 to 25 over cleanliness purpose before observing the Independence Day on March 26.

A notice announcing the restriction has been put up at the main entrance to the memorial.

Mizanur Rahman, deputy assistant engineer of Savar Public Works Department and in-charge of the National Memorial confirmed the matter on Monday evening (March 17).

National Memorial will be reopened to the public after the president and chief adviser pay their respects to martyrs on March 26, marking the official observance of Independence Day.
