Rain, thundershowers forecast in Dhaka, other districts

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thunder showers in all divisions across the country including the capital Dhaka in 72 hours commencing 9:00am on Saturday (March 22).

“Rain or thunder showers or lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” said a Met office regular bulletin.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
